At Somatika, we curate unforgettable sound baths in diverse venues, from intimate spaces to unconventional settings, creating a harmonious blend of ancient healing traditions and contemporary techniques.

Our sound healing experiences feature a carefully selected array of instruments, including crystal bowls, ocean drum, monochord, crystal singing pyramid and gong, each chosen for its therapeutic resonance and dreamlike sounds. The result is a symphony of healing vibrations that promote deep relaxation, stress reduction, and overall well-being.

OUR STORY

Somatika was built to offer a safe haven to relax your mind and body.
The world is a busy place that doesn't allow us to rest very long, at Somatika we hold space for you to do that.
Meghan and Daren came across their first Tibetan singing bowl in 2018. From the moment they played it, there was a collective moment of peace. They could feel the frequency lightening and opening their heart space. They saw similar if not more profound evidence of this when they played it for their children. At this point in their lives they were quite unwell. Meghan had been battling an anxiety disorder for a decade and Daren a severe autoimmune disorder. They had no idea then just what stress and living out of alignment was truly doing to their health and well-being.
In 2019 Meghan and Daren made a brave decision to close the doors to both of their businesses in Edmonton and head south to Calgary, with their 3 little boys in tow.
Soon after they arrived the world went still, forcing Meghan to close the door to her business again. Over the next two years Meghan would study and practice everything from Reiki, EFT, Herbalism, the Emotional Pain Body, Astrology, Altered State of Consciousness, Sound Healing and more.
Soon after she felt an intuitive calling to purchase a set of crystal singing bowls. At a time when the world's foundation was shaky it felt like a huge risk. A risk that ended up being the most rewarding venture of all. From tending to themselves, their children and now being able to share their love of sound vibration with others. It has been such a gift to work with frequencies on this level.
Meghan facilitated her first Sound Bath in April 2022. By October Daren had joined Somatika as their attendance started to exceed their spaces. In November 2022 they held their first Astral Sound Bath at the Inglewood Hall in Calgary, AB and since then they've been honoured to facilitate at universities, retreats, hotels, special events, collaborations.

From these opportunities Meghan and Daren have met so many lovely and supportive humans who have helped them continue to build this safe haven that is Somatika.
There is something to be said about listening to your heart and walking in alignment.

Eventually we were bound to meet up on this path.
